Best Drinks that help Burn Fat during Exercise

Best Drinks that help Burn Fat during Exercise

Exercise increases thermogenesis .i.e. the production of heat in the human body when the body burns stored fat to get energy. Some drinks have been found to have a thermogenic effect; they increase the rate at which you burn calories in the form of fat. Below mentioned are some of the drinks that help to burn fat during exercise:

Drink Milk

According to a recent study published in the ‘Journal of nutrition’ (Sept 2011 issue), protein and dairy foods promote weight loss in overweight and obese. The participants of the study that consumed more milk products as part of high protein diet post exercise lost more fatty tissues and weight. In addition, their body composition also changed to increased muscles in ratio to fat.

Thermogenic Drinks

Commercially available thermogenic drink promotes fat burning during and few hours after exercise. They work by increasing the energy expenditure of body.

A study published in the ‘Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition’, reports that young men who used commercial thermogenic drink increase energy expenditure more than in young people who used placebo.

Green Tea

Green tea increases the energy expenditure or thermogenic for over a period of 24 hours. This fact is supported by a study published in July 2011 issue of “Obesity Reviews”. The cause of this effect was found to be due to caffeine and catechins (antioxidant present in green tea).

However, results of another study conducted to assess the green tea effect weight loss differ in findings. Here green tea was found to be helpful in weight loss but it’s role in fat burning mechanism is still not clear.
Casein

Casein a kind of phosphoprotein proteins is found to be one of the most tyhermogenic of the proteins. This protein is associated with greater body fat reduction, especially when combined with exercise program.

According to a recent study conducted at Switzerland, the people who consumed casein protein feel satiated for a longer period of time in comparison to others who don’t.

20 Weight Loss Tips That Saved My Life And Made Me Slimmer In 8 Weeks

There are 20 weight loss tips I learned during my journey that helped me drop several pounds of fat in 8 weeks... and they also saved my life! If you are struggling to lose weight like I did, then maybe these tips can make a difference in your life as well...

1. Never go on a diet that has you restrict calories and nutrients. This is only going to make you miserable, slow your metabolism down, mess around with your digestive system, intensify your cravings and hunger pangs, and so much more!

2. Increase your metabolism and protect your digestive system by eating smaller meals. You may have heard this tip a billion times... and that's probably because it REALLY does work. Eat 4-6 smaller meals every 2-3 hours and you'll stop feeling hungry all the time, you'll boost your metabolism, you'll keep your digestive system running smoothly, and more.

3. Cleanse your body of harmful toxins and parasites that could literally be adding pounds of waste onto your body. This can be done by eating foods and drinking fluids high in antioxidants (such as teas, berries, green veggies, and more).

4. Water is more important than you think when it comes to losing weight. You can shed pounds of water weight lightning fast just by drinking 1/2 your body-weight in ounces of fresh water and decreasing your sodium intake. Drinking more water will also increase your metabolism, detoxify your body, help you build muscle tissue, and of course, improve your overall health.

5. Focus more on burning off fat than losing pounds. Switching to this mindset will have you doing more natural things and more effective things for improving your body. You'll also look WAY better as well.

6. Fruits are obviously good for you to eat, but most of them are still loaded with sugar. So eat them in moderation.

7. Eat a variety of colors with vegetables. All of them have different health benefits.

8. To boost your metabolism and enhance your digestive system, eat plenty of green veggies.

9. Do a quick exercise routine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to boost your energy level for the day, boost your metabolism, and burn off STORED calories.

10. Have a cheat meal once in a while to not just satisfy your cravings, but to also boost your metabolism!

11. Building muscle is actually more beneficial and effective for burning off pounds of fat than cardio.

12. High intensity interval cardio works best because you combine the benefits of both low intensity workouts and high intensity workouts into one.

13. Always aim to gain SOME type of results. It doesn't matter what it is. It could be losing one pound, it could be that you lost 1/2 an inch off your waist, etc. Seeing, feeling, and getting results is by far the ultimate secret to getting plenty of motivation to stick with your diet and exercise program. It doesn't take a motivational speaker or some type of hypnosis... all it takes is RESULTS! Trust me... it works!

14. To boost your metabolism, keep your digestive system healthy, increase your energy levels, detoxify your body, fight off common illnesses, and a TON more benefits, I recommend that you get at least 3 servings of organic apple cider vinegar (with the 'mother' substance) everyday! This drink is noted as being a miracle drink, and based off of the amount of benefits it has, I think you can clearly see why!

15. If you have a hard time getting motivated to exercise, why not split your workouts into a few short sessions throughout the day? It doesn't matter if you do 30 minutes in one shot, or if you do three 10 minute sessions, you still burn off the same amount of calories.

16. Another thing I did when I couldn't get motivated to exercise is I stopped having some type of structure to my workouts. I know that sounded pretty weird, but let me explain. By not having some type of structure to my workout (such as changing into workout clothes, setting up equipment, going to the gym at a certain time, determining the time of day I was going to workout at home, or doing anything else that is involves a lot of preparation, etc.), and instead just started sporadically exercising at any given moment, I found myself being more motivated to exercise!

This sounds weird, but trust me, it works! For example, I remember watching T.V. sometimes, and during a commercial break, I would just get up and do some push-ups and jumping jacks! Another example would be sometimes I would just roll right out of bed and do a quick 5-10 minute body-weight circuit routine! Exercising is exercising. You DO NOT have to have some type of structure to your workouts in order to exercise. Having said that, this does not mean it's okay to avoid stretching and warming up prior to doing a full workout.

17. Your larger muscle groups are what will burn off the most calories, build muscle, build strength, and skyrocket your metabolism. This is why I recommend you focus more on exercising those areas (back, chest, legs, and core). Focusing on those muscle groups primarily will have you in shape in no time!

18. You can eat late at night... but there is a catch. I don't recommend you eat too many calories, and I definitely don't recommend you eat any type of simple carbs (processed foods, junk foods, white flour foods, and foods containing sugar). The foods that are okay to eat are foods high in protein and veggies.

For example, if you want to have a late-night snack, you can actually combine veggies and protein together and have a celery stalk with healthy peanut butter! The reason it is so important not to eat late at night is because when you go to bed, your body is not burning calories at the normal rate it does when you are awake. Because of this, if you eat a lot of calories within a few hours before going to bed, many of those calories you ate will not be burned... they will be STORED!

19. ALL teas are good for you... not just green. Of course you have to take it easy with teas containing caffeine, but all teas have antioxidants and other health benefits in them, and I recommend you get at least a cup of tea a day. In fact, I'm getting ready to make me a cup of Earl Grey as we speak!

20. The only way you'll ever get the body of your dreams is by staying 100% consistent. The more consistent you are, the more you are going to get results, and if you recall what I said in #13 above, results is the ultimate secret for getting plenty of motivation. So it all starts with staying consistent.

But how?

Well, what I did to help myself stay more consistent with my diet and exercise plan was for one, I chose a diet I knew I was going to stick to, and I chose an exercise regimen that I knew I would be motivated to do on a consistent basis. Secondly, I made sure I switched things up to prevent two things from happening. The first was getting a weight loss plateau, and the other thing was losing motivation. This worked like a charm! Now as far as switching things up with exercising, doing that is pretty much self-explanatory. As far as dieting is concerned, fortunately, the diet I went on was actually already based around switching around the meals. This not only kept me from getting bored, it also skyrocketed my metabolism and increased my bodies fat burning hormones! Go figure!

Bottom line, those 20 tips above helped me during my journey to not only drop over 50 pounds in 8 weeks, they also saved my life! And that's because I was well on my way to becoming morbidly obese (302 pounds) and I have a history in my family of getting overweight related diseases.

Listen, I don't want you to think I'm saying that this is going to be easy. It isn't. However, that's only for the work involved to getting the body of your dreams. If you have the motivation, then it doesn't matter how hard it is, mentally you are going to be well prepared, and then dieting and exercising will become a part of your life! And that's what I hope I achieved with this article... and that would be to have given you that starting motivation to make a change with your life and improve it.

The benefits of being in shape and being healthy are astounding (it's not JUST looking better)! If you want it, you WILL get it. Just make a decision right now that enough is enough, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals... and then DO IT!

Good luck my friend... and remember the 3 key words of success with diet and exercise: Natural... Consistency... Results!

And the best diet that I used and highly recommend if you want to Melt Away Fat FAST and permanently drop 9 pounds EVERY 11 DAYS is the "calorie shifting diet" from Fat Loss 4 Idiots...

I lost an amazing 52 lbs. of fat in 2 months (plus flattened my belly) using this popular online fat loss program... and it all has stayed off FOR GOOD! It works because it naturally raises your metabolism by having you eat REAL FOOD...

How To Regain Your Natural Slim Body - Naturally Slim

If you asked a group of overweight people whether it was harder to be slim than fat, no doubt the majority would say that fat is easy to do and being or becoming slim is hard work. Conventional wisdom would also agree that becoming slim takes a great deal of effort. After all, there's deprivation, calorie counting, watching what you eat and denial while staying overweight is deemed easy as you can eat whatever you like in whatever quantities you choose and whenever you choose.

You may be surprised to learn however that none of that may be true. It is harder, much harder, to become overweight and to stay that way than it is to become slim and to maintain slimness. The diet industry, like the cigarette companies have a vested interest in telling us that our drug of choice is addictive as that means we will believe that there is little we can do about our addictions.

This means smokers will carry on smoking and those who are addicted to food will have to spend vast amounts of money on every diet under the sun simply to fail each and every time.

Yet, it stands to reason that it must be easier to be slim than overweight simply because slim is natural and overweight is completely unnatural. There isn't a single animal in the wild that is overweight. Not one. It has never been known for that to happen. The only animals that suffer with weight problems are those who live with humans. All wild animals are slim because they eat when they are hungry and they stop when they have had enough to eat.

We too were born to eat this way. It's as natural for us to be lean as it is for all animals. If a Robin finds itself in a grain silo it will not carry on eating until it can no longer fly. It will not eat until it is bloated and have to lie on its back with its legs in the air until it recovers, just in case it might get hungry later on. The Robin will eat until it's satisfied and then it will fly off happily. The Robin knows when it has had enough because it's in tune with its body and it pays attention to the signals it is given that signal when to stop. That's easy.

Our overweight human has to ignore those signals. (The signals are still there even if they've been ignored for years). Every mouthful of food eaten after the signal is ignored gets less and less enjoyable but our overweight person still pushes on regardless. After all they've been indoctrinated to eat it all up. It's hard work, exhausting but it has to be done. By the time our overweight person finishes eating they may feel anything ranging from discomfort to agony. They certainly won't feel at ease like they would had they stopped eating when satisfied, instead they'll feel boated, stuffed, sick, exhausted or in need of a lie down.

Our overweight person has no energy, can't run or walk very far, and finds it difficult to play with their children or grandchildren. The slightest effort often leaves them puffing, panting and sweating. Their digestive system is overloaded at every meal and all the food they eat that is surplus to requirements has to be dealt with and laid down as fat so the body is working overtime trying to deal with huge amount of surplus. That's hard.

Stop telling yourself that it's hard to become slim and get your facts right. It's so much harder to be overweight. I'm a HypnoSlimmer consultant and the HypnoSlimmer program is designed to re-establish the healthy eating patterns you were born with. Guess what everyone says when they start on the HypnoSlimmer program and begin eating in this natural way? "I can't believe how easy it is." Eating when hungry and stopping when full is easy, because it's natural. Being overweight is hard.

The HypnoSlimmer program utilises weight loss hypnosis and is designed to get you back where you belong, naturally! Those who's weight falls into the obese range can avail themselves of the gastric hypno band process.

5 Healthy Foods That Could Make You Fat

Many people stock up on what they think is healthy food when they make the decision to lose weight. Their intentions may be good, but if they're grabbing these foods listed below, their actions may actually sabotage their weight loss efforts.

#1 Fruit - This is highly controversial, but fruit isn't for everyone. At least not right away. Fruit is high in sugar and for the overweight individual, may actually do more harm than good in terms of weight loss. If you do consume fruit it should be at breakfast time only.

#2 Whole Grain Crackers - All carbs are broken down to sugar and cause insulin spikes. Whole Grains usually have more fiber and slow the process down. Whole grain crackers are still processed carbs and usually don't have a lot of fiber.

#3 Fruit Juice - Fruit juice may seem healthy when you consider the alternatives like soda pop and other sugary drinks. However, when you get into what fruit juice is, you'll learn quickly that it is not that good for you. Imagine you have a wonderful home and it's the middle of the winter. Now imagine you took the walls off that home. Not so good anymore is it? The fiber in fruit is removed during the juicing process, which leads to a faster insulin spike and more calories stored as fat.

#4 100 Calories Snacks - This, in my personal opinion, is the stupid idea food manufactures came up with. Unfortunately, it worked and we fell for it. 100 calories of unhealthy cookies and crackers is still bad for you. And a 100 calories snack... If I am hungry, 100 calories is not enough to satisfy me until my next meal. Most people will eat this 100 calorie snack and then not feed themselves for another 3 hours when they're body needs more.

#5 Pizza - I know, pizza isn't a healthy food. However, congress recently ruled that pizza was a vegetable and schools who served pizza did not need to add another vegetable. How is pizza a vegetable you ask? According to them the tomato paste in the pizza sauce makes it a vegetable. Forget that tomato paste makes up a small percentage of the pizza sauce and the pizza sauce is only a small percentage of the pizza. Furthermore, forget that tomatoes are biologically a fruit (congress ruled it a vegetable several years ago). Just goes to show you that our government really cares about our health, huh?

4 Easy Tips for Creating Healthy Eating Habits

Creating healthy habits includes knowing what to do as well as what not to do. Introducing small changes into your everyday routine can make it easier to improve personal wellness than you might think. Of course changing long-held habits can be challenging, but making small, seemingly insignificant changes can make a big difference in the long run.

Most people don't just wake up 20 or 30 pounds heavier one morning. Weight slowly creeps on because of a few bad eating habits. It's also possible, however, for it to slowly come off with a few healthy changes.

These mindful eating tips can help you start taking better care of yourself now. Improved personal wellness might only be one new habit away!

1) Put unhealthy snacks in a solid container: Surprise! The tip isn't about getting rid of junk food. It's simply to move it from clear containers (or from the original bag with all its delicious pictures) to a container you can't see into. An eating study found people ate less candy when the candy dish was changed from a clear jar to an opaque jar.

2) Move snack jars to the other side of the room: If you've already put your tempting snacks into a solid container but still find yourself eating more than you'd like, move it to a location at least six feet away. A research study found that workers ate 9 pieces of chocolate per day when candy bowls were on top of their desk. They only ate 6 per day when the jar was moved inside their desk. The number fell to 4 per day when the container was moved across the room. It appears the candy became less tempting when they had to walk to get it.

3) Decide in advance and save the proof: If you're going to treat yourself to a favorite food or snack decide how much of a splurge you're going to have before you get caught in the throes of an all you can eat wing frenzy or a Halloween candy office bonanza. Once you decide your upper limit, keep a reminder on your plate until you're done. A plate full of chicken bones or candy wrappers gives a more accurate count of how much you ate than your post splurge memory might.

4) Create natural stopping points: If the jumbo size bag of chips was on such a fantastic sale that you "had" to buy a bag or two, don't despair. You can still exercise discipline after the fact. Look at the serving size on the bag. Divide the bag into servings and put them into smaller baggies or containers. Put those out of sight (tip 1), ideally some place far away (step 2), and decide how much and how often you'll indulge (step 3.)

Improving personal wellness might not be easy, but it's probably easier than you think. Make small, gradual changes and keep building on your success.

Be well.

How To Burn 11 Pounds of Belly Fat in 7 Days

I have tried a number of things to get rid of unwanted bell fat in the last couple of years. Like many, I am in my 30's, work full time and seem to have little time to workout. Even though I still make it to the gym a few times a week, jog or do my own thing at home, I still struggle to keep in decent shape. I'm not trying to get washboard abs but keeping lean and mean would greatly improve my self-esteem.

I try to eat fairly well but this can be difficult during those busy times. So with all of these bad habits, I never seem to get ahead when it comes to looking good. I've tried numerous cleanses, detox's and low-carb diets. None of these things were able to help me.

Most people tell me that I'm getting old and metabolism has slowed so there is not much I can do about it. The problem is, I still see many people that look much better than me that do not exercise regularly. They don't work out, eat healthy or take any diet pills. I ask them what their secret is and they either don't know or don't want to tell me. I have a feeling it's a bit of both. After doing a bunch of reading on this topic, I recently came across a method that utilizes calorie confusion combined with eating specific foods.

There are also certain foods that you should stay away from as they are known to increase belly fat. You would be surprised at which foods end up on either side of this argument. Such items as dark chocolate, turkey legs and peanut butter to name a few. Knowing which foods to eat and which to stay away from can lead to burning up to 11 pounds of belly fat in only 7 days.

There are 3 main methods to achieving this goal.

1. The first method boils down to simple calorie confusion. Most diets start out great until your body realizes what is happening and turns off it's fat burning abilities. If the body notices a sudden drop in calorie intake it thinks it's being starved. It will then try to retain all the nutrients and fat it can. If we confuse the body just before this process takes place, the fat burning we experienced at the beginning of the diet will continue.

2. The second step is to ensure you are eating the correct fat-burning foods while not eating the fat gaining foods. These fat burning foods will cleanse your digestive track and scrape the excess fat from your belly. It will also help you lose excess water from your body to give you that lean hard-body look.

3.The 3rd method is similar to the previous as it involves eating certain foods. These foods cause the body to burn lots of calories through digestion. So you essentially eat certain foods that take a bunch of energy to digest thus reducing your overall calorie count while still providing that satisfied feeling.

A combination of these methods can produce great results in a short amount of time.

This diet is tailored for people like you and I.

Jared is an average guy that like many has a full-time job and a busy personal life, leaving him with little time to work out. When he does work out he can never get ahead even after following a grueling diet plan. He's not looking to be a movie star but merely a thin, flat-stomach man that is not embarrassed to take off his shirt. He recently stumbled upon a method that helps him burn belly fat while maintaining his current lifestyle.
